A Study on Helath Promotion Behavior of Middle-aged Men

Abstract
This study is to grasp the factors which the lifestyles of middle-aged men affect their health-promotion behavior of middle-aged men. For the current study, a convenience sampling was done in middle-aged men aged between 35 and 60 years who were residing in Daegu and Gyeong Buk Province, and use a structured questionnaire sheet. Of 295 questionnaire sheets which were responded, 286 were finally selected for the current analysis. The results were as follows: The lifestyles of middle-aged men showed demographically significant differences in terms of age, religion, educational level state of the health. Of the lifestyles, the type of active-living had the most persons. The group of passive-living lifestyle showes that the level of Chance Health Locus of Control is high, and they are healthy. The group of active-living lifestyle showes that the level of Powerful Others Health Locus of Control is high, and they are healthy. But The group of economical-living lifestyle showes that the level of Chance Health Locus of Control marks low, and they are weakly. When seeing like this result, the low level of Health Locus of Control affects negative healthly. The healthy level of group of economical-living type, which the behavior of stress management and nutrition management is not well, is low. Consequently, the behavior of stress management and nutrition management have an effect to the greatest extent to promoting health.
